Is this really what people hear when we talk?

I've been watching this video all weekend. It's just so crazy to me. Some Italian guy wrote this song to make it sound like they're speaking English, when really it's a bunch of gibberish. I mean it's amazing, I like the song too it's catchy. It's like Blondie with studio 54 and I don't know looks like a Queen production (though sounds nothing like them). It's very late 70's early 80's dance machine. I'm just rambling.
