For the 2 months I failed to blog.

Hi there. Yup, I did it again. But I'm owning up to it. So i fell off the wagon right away, but really people who has the time? I've got a bigillion other things to do, like school, and riding the bus for hours at a time. And watching Being Human on Syfy. Seriously, busy.

Now I have the gruesome task of having to fill you in on the past two months. Well, not so gruesome since I don't necessarily need to keep blogging (I do have a choice when it comes to these matters you know). I left off with telling you I was packing. Well, I was packing to move (yet again), but this time to my dad's house in Fountain Valley. I've been here since 2 days after my last post...so um about 8 weeks. And it's working out pretty well.

I also started school, which by the way is awesome. You have no idea how much I missed school, it's ridiculous. I never recommend taking a semester off, ever. I mean i you need a break or something, just plan your mental breakdowns around a long weekend and you should be fine.
But anyways, I'm taking Math, Pilates and Stage Makeup. Math is alright, same old same old, that whole deal. Pilates, OMG I feel like I'm doing nothing but laying down and just moving a little in that class, but I swear somehow it kicks my ass and I feel super sore the next day. Now, Stage Makeup, that is for another blog another day. Let's just say I love it.

I think that's all that really happened.

P.S. Almost forgot to mention that I got a haircut. It's short.
P.S.S. And I'm stalking a CSZ High School Ref now, here's his website. He's the one with the glasses.

School House blues

Today I have been made painfully aware of the fact that I being out of school is making me miserable. In High School, it was the bane of my existence and now I feel like I'm going to die without it. What brought this to my attention was the fact that, had I not moved, today would have been my first day back to class. Though I must admit, this feeling had been building up for awhile.

At the beginning of every school year I look forward to shopping for school supplies, instead this year I'm helping other people shop for school supplies. And it's making this a lot harder.

Instead of starting my first day of the fall semester, I'm sitting around, doing nothing (It's my day of work)..

I MISS SCHOOL!

P.S. I just realized the word school looks funny..you know, the kind of funny where you think it's misspelled.

What kind of counseling is that?

Last semester I took a counseling class. I had a pretty decent professor, she seemed to know what she was talking about. But after some "counseling" advice she gave me, I really had to rethink taking that class and eventually just dropped it.

Not that I'm saying this class isn't useful, it is, but for students with more "traditional" careers in mind.

One of our very first essay assignments was to write about our dream career and how we plan to make that dream a reality. I of course wrote about how I wanted to be a pastry chef, and eventually open my own bakery. I gave her my general plan as to how I would go about that (i.e. What I planned to major in...etc..etc).

My friend who was also taking that class, got hers back with some advice on it, like what classes she should take, schools she should look into, words of encouragement, all that jazz.

But when I got my paper back all It said was "You should try and get on one of those cooking shows."

That's it.

Seriously? What kind of advice is that?

I owe you some Baklava

So for this semester both Natalie and I are in the same English Class. We pretty much kickass in this class to the point where people dislike us for knowing everything. No I'm not cocky (yes I am), It is the truth, the proof is in the grades. Well there's a set of twin brothers that are also in the same class. Both Natalie and I agree that one of them is pretty awesome but the other one is a dick. I bring them up because we have gone to war with them! They don't know this but IT IS ON!

See our teacher is having this book quiz contest, we go home and read 5 chapters then have mini quizzes on those chapters everyday. Whoever gets the most points wins some sort of prize. Natalie, The Twins, and Myself are all tied for first. This is the second book we are doing this for, I won the first contest. But because we dislike the douchey twin, Natalie and I are banding together to kick their asses in this contest. See we want to throw him off his high horse.

So before every class period we go over the chapters and discuss the keypoints. If the one of us didn't read one chapter the other one will fill that person in. Because of this I owe Natalie, Baklava. This is fitting as the book we're reading is about an Iranian women growing up in America.

We have this in the bag.

I feel like I'm running

Everything is just coming at me fast I swear! All this homework. My god how did I ever do it in high school, oh that's right, I didn't.

It's crazy. I just feel so motivated to do this semester right to the point where it might kill me. In doing so, I think, to me anyway, I think my attitude is much more positive because I am all up to speed with everything, so I have nothing to worry about.

I'm sleepy though.

$$$$$$$$$$

I swear to god my parents are going to go broke paying for my school books. I just spent nearly $400 on just the books I need for this week in order to do my homework. It's cussing ridiculous. I'm not even done getting all my books. Oy vey!

So last Tuesday my spring semester started and I must say it looks promising. I will be so disappointed if I don't manage to pass all my classes with flying colors this semester. Despite having my counselor telling me to drop one of my classes because she's convinced I can't do it, I'm not going to. For Christ sakes they made me take a math class for 7th graders! This is why I hate multiple choice assessments, they've got me all wrong fool.

Pep talk

So I finally received all my grades for the fall semester. And I must say I know they aren't the best, but I'm proud of myself. I've been pulling our non-passing grades for the last couple of years, because well I was just becoming in different, I know that's bad, but I just hate the repetitiveness of school.

But this last semester I managed to pass every one of the classes I was taking pulling out 3 B's and a C. I know that C really pissed off my mom, but I still remained proud of it. Because that class was really hard for me, like I mean hard in 'I can not stand to pay attention' 'Worst class ever' kind of way. Normally I just stop showing up to those classes because I can never pay attention in them. But I went to every single class and did all the work without having a clue as to what we were actually learning. Accomplishment? I think so.

And yeah I had a text book, but really I'm not a computer, I can not retain information from those things unless I'm interested (i.e. History).

So Robo-parents back off! You can try to put me down but you will fail! As I'm doing my happy dance inside, because I did it all by myself. No help from anyone. Just me and all me.

I look forward to the Spring Semester and I'm saying bring it on!
